FORTLINE Weapon Database

How the default five and known gamepass guns feel in released 10-player FFA.

Weapon Database

This database covers every FORTLINE gun this wiki is willing to name. FORTLINE is a released free Roblox battle royale with online multiplayer, 10-player FFA, and building. We do not invent extra rifles, magazines, or DPS. If a line is missing a number, that number was never published in a source we trust.

Defaults come from public how-to coverage: crossbow, shotgun, assault rifle, SMG, sniper rifle. Gamepass and shop tools that appear in player footage: Admin RPG / rocket launcher, Rail Gun, Laser Gun, taser, Grapple Hook, plus movement pieces that are not guns. Letters, when we use them, match the weapon tier list for Sep 2026 wiki meta. Parent hub: Gear Hub.

Combat basics you need while you read: left mouse fires, right mouse aims, number keys swap when you are not in build mode. Build toggle (Q / Z / C on keyboard in public guides) blocks shooting until you leave it. Every gun below is also a “can I leave build in time” test.

Crossbow (default) — B

The crossbow is always in the free kit. It is a mid-range projectile, not a panic spray. In a 10-player FFA it feels like the gun you use when you already have space: someone is on a pad, you are not being rushed, and you can wait for the bolt. It loses to shotgun if they close, and it loses to sniper if the lane is truly long.

When to have it out: after a knock-back when the AR would spray a wall. When to put it away: any stair fight. Rank B is “useful, not a main.”

Shotgun (default) — S close, with falloff

The shotgun is the free close-range S gun. Player footage is clear on one handling point: damage falloff. In a doorway or on a stair it ends fights. A few steps out, the same pellets stop being a delete button. That is the whole skill: stay close, or swap.

When to have it out: landing contests, 1x1s, someone walking through a panel. When to put it away: as soon as you see a full lane or a sniper head on a ramp. Do not “main shotgun” across a valley; that is the C-tier starter-only situation on the rank list, not a different gun.

Building makes shotgun S. People panic-place walls, then they have to toggle out to shoot. That toggle window is shotgun range.

Assault rifle (default) — A

The AR is the free mid-range workhorse. If you do not know what to hold, hold this. It is A, not S, because FORTLINE’s 10-player fights still resolve at the extremes: sniper on height, shotgun in the box, RPG on the wall if someone owns it. The AR is what you shoot between those events.

When to have it out: any mid lane, any time a shotgun user is too far and a sniper user is too close to scope. When to put it away: true close (shotgun) or true skyline (sniper).

SMG (default) — B

The SMG is the fast close-mid spray. It feels like the gun you swap to when the shotgun is awkward and the AR is still too slow for someone in your camera. It does not beat a committed shotgun in a closet, and it does not beat a sniper who already has height.

When to have it out: messy close-mid after a bad land, or while you chase someone who is still placing panels. When to put it away: as soon as the lane opens. Rank B means “keep it, do not build your identity on it.”

Sniper rifle (default) — S

The sniper is the free long-range S gun. In this mode “long” is a ramp, a roof, or a glide, not a 100-player circle. Ten players still leave empty sky. A player who ramps twice becomes a head. That is the sniper’s job.

When to have it out: after you take height, when you see gliders, when the lobby spreads. When to put it away: inside a 1x1. Hard-scoping a box is how S becomes C in one life.

You do not need a gamepass to hold an S gun. That is the point of this default.

Admin RPG / rocket launcher (gamepass, 299, on sale) — S if owned

The on-sale Admin RPG pass text is ADMIN ROCKET LAUNCHER. Player shop tours also say rocket / grenade launcher in that slot. This wiki treats that as one splash tool, not two invented guns. It is S if you own it because FORTLINE is a builder: splash taxes people who stall in panels.

When to have it out: a 1v1 that became two walls and a stare. When to put it away: true shotgun range, where you will blow yourself up or miss the delete. It does not replace Double Health; it replaces the stall. Buyer rank is A on the gamepass tier list because 299 Robux is not the first spend.

Rail Gun (gamepass, offsale) — A if owned

Rail Gun is a premium energy weapon on an offsale pass. If it is already on your account, treat it as A: a mid-to-long gun that sits above the free AR in footage, without knocking sniper or shotgun off S. If you do not own it, do not shop for it. Sep 2026 status is closed.

We do not publish charge time or a fake “one-shot” claim. If you have it, use it in AR-range lanes and still swap to shotgun in boxes.

Laser Gun (gamepass, offsale) — A if owned

Laser Gun is the other offsale energy gun. Same rule as Rail: A if owned, not a new-buyer target. Hold it in mid fights. Do not pretend it is a shotgun. Do not list it in a Sep 2026 Robux plan.

Taser (footage, not a listed default) — C if present

Some player videos show a taser. It is not one of the five defaults in public how-to lists. If it is in your hotbar, treat it as C close utility, not as a sixth rifle. We do not invent stun duration. If it is not in your bar, play the defaults and move on.

Grapple Hook (gamepass, offsale) — B mobility if owned

Grapple is a movement tool, B on the weapon list, C as a purchase because it is offsale. It does not outdamage the sniper. Use it to take height or leave a box, then swap to a real gun. New buyers should ignore the name.

Not guns (do not shoot them at people and expect S)

Flamingo / UFO / Jet gliders are drop tools. UFO footage is fly-style; Jet is the other premium drop; Flamingo is the fun one. Grade them on the pass list, not as rifles.

Jetpack (offsale) and Rainbow Magic Carpet (offsale) are movement / flex. D as combat tools. Exclusive Christmas Weapons is an offsale bundle with no verified public gun list on this wiki, so we do not invent a festive sniper.

Practice that sheet in live online servers. FORTLINE respawns, so a wrong swap is a note, not a lost night. For letters only, stay on the weapon tier list. For how the keys work on your device, use how to play. For which Robux pass actually adds a gun, use gamepasses.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common FORTLINE questions.

What are the five default FORTLINE weapons?

Crossbow, shotgun, assault rifle, SMG, and sniper rifle. All five are free on a new account.

Does the shotgun really fall off at range?

Yes. Player footage shows strong close damage and a sharp drop as space opens. Swap to AR or sniper instead of taking long shotgun shots.

Is Admin RPG a separate gun from the rocket launcher?

The pass description is ADMIN ROCKET LAUNCHER. This wiki treats that splash tool as one item, S if owned. We do not split it into extra invented launchers.

Should I buy Rail Gun or Laser Gun in Sep 2026?

No. Both passes are offsale. They are A only if you already own them. See gamepasses for status.

Where do these guns rank?

Sniper, shotgun, and owned RPG are S; AR, owned Rail, and owned Laser are A; SMG, crossbow, and owned Grapple are B. Full table: weapon tier list.

Can I shoot while building?

No. Public how-to coverage says you must leave build mode (Q on keyboard) before you fire. That window is why shotgun and RPG matter. More in how to play.
